Environmental and health education in educational curricula - a study in content analysis of civic education textbooks in the first stage

Abstract

In order to answer this question, we used content analysis by making the textbook a material for this analysis, where we searched for lessons, phrases and images that can support environmental values, reflecting the keenness of the concerned authorities to make environmental culture a priority in school curricula, and we found that the first stage (first, second and third year) oprimary education is replete with many topics, images and phrases indicative of a tendency to instill environmental culture in young people. The study concluded that the first stage (first, second and third year) of primary education is filled with many topics, images and phrases indicative of a trend towards instilling environmental culture in young people, not to mention tourist trips of an
environmental nature organized by educational institutions on private and isolated initiatives, so that the will and solidarity of all educational actors remains the real bet to instill environmental values.
