Abstract

Abstract: The current study aims to identify the level of depression prevalence among students and to reveal the differences between the two genders in depression level. To achieve the study objectives, Beck’s Second Depression List, adapted by Bachir Mamria, according to the Algerian environment, has been applied. The research sample consists of 524 male and female students. The descriptive method has been adopted. The attained results show that students don’t suffer from depression, and there’re statistically significant differences in depression in favor of female students
