Abstract

speech therapy for people with non-fluent aphasia, by presenting and discussing some international studies that have addressed the uses of virtual reality technology in language and cognitive disorders in general, and aphasia in particular, and as an illustrative model, we will present the British virtual platform EVA Park for language rehabilitation for people with non-fluent aphasia. Through this study, we have reached a number of important conclusions, the most important of which are:

- The virtual platform EVA Park contributes to improving functional communication skills and producing new words for people with non-fluent aphasia.

- Virtual reality complements, not replaces, traditional therapeutic programs in the field of aphasia.
