Abstract

The pandemic has forced many companies to close their doors for fear of the rapid spread of the virus and to prevent their workers from it. In order to ensure the continuity of their business, the majority of companies around the world have resorted to the remote work system that relies mainly on information and communication technologies, which allows the employee to work from home without having to move to the company. The aim of this study is to highlight the extent to which Algerian companies are able to adopt the remote working system specifically for the Sétif Proximity Tax Center, which plays an important role in tax collecting and ensuring the relation improvement between tax authorities and taxpayers. In our study, we adopted the descriptive approach using both the interview and the questionnaire that were distributed to the study population that covers a set of company employees. In conclusion, the Sétif Proximity Tax Center is able to adopt the remote work system because of the behavioral characteristics of its employees, which qualify them for this type of work.
