Abstract

The intercultural is a main leitmotiv in literature because it is the center of identity quests reflecting that way metis societies. Kenizé Mourad is known as one of the last members of the ottomane dynastie. She always considered herself close to the oppressed especially during her missions as a reporter of Nouvel Observateur. Otherwise, she carries a huge interest in the condition of the woman in the East, which will be the battle through which she takes part in the dialogue between East and West relying on her own atypical intercultural course. The author continues her quest of indentity in her second novel Le Jardin de Badalpour, where she replicates her rare intercultural experience.
