The intercultural imaginary, a setting to the literary text

Abstract

This paper proposes an approach of literary texts in the light of the intercultural imagination. The question of the culture being a hermeneutic question. The cultural aspect, diffused in the speech, takes various forms marking the identity of an entire community as a heritage. These cultural encounters are realised in spaces, in situations and through characters: it falls to the work of the imagination to achieve this transposition and create a device to establish traditions, identities within a text.
