The applying of ergonomic Criteria in assembly industries and their impact on the workers performance

Abstract

This Article focuses on the applying of the Ergonomic Criteria and Recommendations in the field  of Manual Assembly Functions of the products, and addresses the concept of the manual assembly of the product and its stages and steps, and explain the different applied  Ergonomic criteria in  this field, the manual assembly operations are done through the so-called “Production Lines” which are a set of sequential workstations, in each workstation the worker does  limited and short frequent  operations, the Ergonomic Criteria illustrated by the Design of workstation, instruments, containers, equipment, and Design repetitive tasks, also Design  the product and product parts, design product and  parts is very important to ease  manual assembly, therefor  the Ergonomists create many Techniques to evaluate design the product and parts of product to facilitate manual assembly tasks, finally this research addresses the important of applying Ergonomic criteria and recommendations in this sort of functions and its role in raising production capacity of the workers and reducing Human Error  and product time.
