The applications of school psychology in the Algerian educational system Analytic reading the process of coaching and mentoring in the Algerian school

Abstract

The present article aims to highlight the historical development of guidance and counseling process in the Algerian school during the nearly 50 years of the history of the educational system in Algeria, through demonstrating the most significant guidance approaches and their relationship to the counseling activities. Also, this paper analyzes the most important stages of reforming the system of guidance and counseling in Algeria and the repercussions of the process by indicating the most important characteristics of each era. The paper, too, reviews the most prominent achievements by indicating the pros and cons listed in the field up to date.
