Students' Assessments of the Quality of the University Professor's Teaching Performance

Abstract

Providing feedback to the professor about his performance through student assessments is one of the basic assessments at the university for decades. 50 phrases that measures personal specifications and pedagogical competencies (planning, implementation and evaluation) were applied to a sample of (100) students at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Setif 2. The study concluded average estimates of the teachers’ performance in personal specifications and teaching competencies, in addition to the absence of statistically significant differences between students' estimates by level and academic specialization.
