Abstract

At a time when the Covid-19 pandemic is shaking up our most entrenched certainties. Valuable lessons emerge from this painful time: The threat of a resurgence raises fears that no state will be safe until all states are. This virus knows no borders, and international solidarity and cooperation should not have any either. Multilateralism is therefore more necessary than ever, Nevertheless, it is clear that, for many years, multilateralism seems to be called into question by a certain number of international actors who consider it ineffective or little able to ensure their interests. This ideal of post-World War II international relations, abused in its very institutions and foundations, seemed ineffective in organizing any international coordination or consultation in the face of the Covid 19 crisis, to the point that some see it as the end of This ideal, what is multilateralism, or at least the need to rethink it and question the future that will be in store for it?
