In a context marked by a vertiginous evolution of communication channels, it is up to the school to implement the conditions favorable to school learning, in general, and to the development of the reading skills of learners in particular. In this article, we propose to raise the issue of didactisation of literary reading in Algerian university context. To this end, we rely on the implementation of the progressive unveiling device to allow the subject-reader to access the meaning of literary texts. Thus, the present research, which is part of an experiment conducted within the Teacher Training School, Sétif , tends to focus on the modalities and challenges inherent in the practice of this technique in order to draw profit and help students to get involved in the reading tasks offered in class.
