Abstract

In order to restore psychological balance and social adaptation, clinical psychology emphasises taking care of the psychological disorders of the individual. We have been working on a private psychiatric clinic in Bejaia-Algeria, for ten years, where our clinical practice has been related to the analytical theoretical framework. We used psychoanalytic-inspired therapy, whose analysis and explanations depend on Freudian concepts based on the patient's past.

The samples examined were diverse and included various cases, we attempted in theory to divide them into three groups; the first group, it involved patients with chronic diseases suffering from psychiatric disorders or mental illnesses. The second group, children

with school phobia, bedwetting, for the third group, included the two sexes men and women with different life problems.

We have tried to address this framework and its importance in psychotherapy, focusing on its elements and characteristics. We also addressed the practice of the psychologist, stressing on his/her clinical position and on the transferential movements demonstrations, referring to his/her shortcomings in our country.
