Abstract

    Career success is one of the concepts that is difficult to understand because it includes two aspects, one subjective and the other objective, and the feeling is not only related to the absolute level to achieve a specific act or task, but also related to the individual and collective standards and values ​​that individuals possess in the shadow of the meaning of success and gives legitimacy and justification to the means Its attainment, and therefore this descriptive study comes in the search for the meaning that the Algerian employee holds for the job success and the factors that help in achieving it. The result of the study happened to show the extent of success in the mindset of the Algerian employee so that the work remains merely an abstract theoretical value that does not reflect the practices on the ground.
