How many times are we left caught and transported by the writings of Tahar Ben Jelloun? Not without pointing out that Ben Jelloun's writings invite all readers to live and relive beautiful romantic adventures that are as fascinating in their discursive plan as they are fascinating and, sometimes, dreamy in their narrative plan. So is it not this Sand Child who writes with a feather of sand on a stretch of sand words vibrating such distant music and stories of miracles, carrying away the reader thirsty endlessly for small drops of water? Isn't it also this illusory magic that seduces the reader by enchanting him in the grip of Ben Jelloun's intertextual writing?
